Will you stay, or shall you go back to whom you have left behind? Better not to find Paradise, some say. This was the dilemma Alexander the Great faced when he reached Nysa (near present day Jalalabad, Afghanistan): a place so lush and green, so much like home, that he decided to withheld the spot to his men, as not to weaken their spirits.
